Group reaffirms support for Tinubu’s mandate

The Grassroots Mobilization Initiative (GMI) has reaffirmed its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging constructive national dialogue and responsible engagement from all political stakeholders.

In a statement issued by its National Coordinator, Samaila Musa, the group emphasized the importance of respecting the President’s mandate and acknowledged the ongoing efforts of the current administration to address security and economic challenges.

“The administration has continued to implement reforms aimed at stabilizing the economy, strengthening national security, and fostering growth. These efforts, though gradual, are vital steps towards long-term progress,” Musa said.

He noted that while Nigeria faces serious challenges such as insecurity and economic pressures, the government has demonstrated commitment through decisive policies and programs designed to bring lasting solutions.

According to him, governance is complex and requires patience, collaboration, and a shared sense of responsibility from all political actors, including the opposition.

“The GMI believes that constructive contributions and practical solutions are essential in building the Nigeria we all desire. Political discourse should focus on collective problem-solving rather than polarisation,” he added.

Reaffirming its support for the Renewed Hope Agenda, the GMI pledged to continue advocating for policies that promote development, job creation, and national unity.

“The GMI remains committed to engaging positively with government initiatives, supporting democratic processes, and working towards a better future for all Nigerians,” Musa stated.
