A non-profit group in Osun State under the auspices of the Police and Personalities Forum (PAPEF) on Tuesday handed over a refurbished patrol vehicle to Osogbo Area Command of the Nigerian Police to enable policemen to tackle crimes in the state.
The group had earlier bought a patrol vehicle for Dada Estate Divisional Police Headquarters in Osogbo.

The Coordinator of PAPEF, Dr Tosin Odeyemi, said the initiative was to support policemen to be able to function efficiently.
He assured the police of the group’s continued support by providing them with logistics that would enhance their productivity.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Wale Olokode, thanked the group and assured them that the police would intensify efforts in combating crime in the state.
