The organiser of South East Campus Awards, Emmanuel Anabueze has announced the shortlisting of 120 students for leadership awards across some tertiary institutions in the south east.
Anabueze in a statement yesterday said the award event will be held on October 1st in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, and will be the fourth edition so far.
He stated that out of 800 students nominated, 120 moved to the final stage which will be voted by the members of the public to determine the winners of the 30 award categories.
These categories include Campus Influential Student of the Year, Campus Ushering Agency of the Year, Campus Sports Personality of the Year, Campus Blogger of the Year, among others.
“The South East Campus Awards has successfully set a standard for others to follow in the area of encouraging students in doing better in other socio-cultural categories and sectors in school activities,” he said.
He added that the award is intended to recognise and honour students, brands, individuals, and corporate organisations that are in one way or the other supporting and encouraging students and students’ bodies.
