The Middle Belt Solidarity League (MBS) has condemned the Nigeria Labour Congress’s (NLC) for calling for the release of its President, Joe Ajaero.

The group also talked the NLC for demanding reduced fuel prices, labeling it as hypocritical.

This was contained in a statement by Fidelis Riyom, MBS’s Chairman and Martha Bako, its Secretary.

“The NLC’s claim that the Department of State Services (DSS) is targeting labor leaders is baseless and a desperate attempt to shield Ajaero from justice,” the statement said.

“We call on the DSS to intensify its investigations and place under surveillance all suspected accomplices.

“Justice must be swift, and those who dare violate the law of the land must face the full weight of the consequences.”
