A pro-government group, Take Action Campaign for Tinubu (TACT), says it has written to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, expressing its intention to purchase the presidential Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.
The group also urged the President to remain focused on his administration’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” as it pledged to mobilise resources in support of his re-election.
The National Convener of TACT, Tony Nwulu, disclosed this while addressing APC women leaders who visited him in solidarity.
In a letter dated April 4, 2026, and signed by its Director-General, Nwulu, the group said its decision followed consultations with supporters in Nigeria and the diaspora who favour continuity in leadership.
According to the group, the offer to purchase the nomination form is intended as a show of support for the President and his policies.
“The decision to support President Tinubu for a second term is based on our assessment of ongoing policies under his leadership. We believe continuity will allow more time for these policies to take full effect,” the letter stated in part.
TACT added that it would also engage in mobilisation and public enlightenment efforts ahead of the 2027 election.
The group called on Nigerians to support government programmes and remain engaged in the country’s democratic process.
