The Rural Community Development Outreach (RCDO) has urged the federal government and international partners to take a firm position against individuals aiding or abetting terrorism.

In a statement by Ikenna Ellis Ezenekwe, its National Coordinator, the group said if terrorism continues to flourish, the impact will be catastrophic—not just for rural residents but for the entire nation.

RCDO, therefore, called for immediate action and international solidarity, aimed at protecting the people who are most vulnerable to the repercussions of violence and instability.

“This decisive step also aligns with our commitment to advocating for the rights and development of rural populations, ensuring that their voices are heard, and that their communities remain safe and prosperous,” the statement added.
