The All Progressive Congress (APC) Lagos chapter foremost groups; Justice and Mandate groups have joined forces to mobilise for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.

The group will hold a grand congregational prayer for Nigeria and President Bola Tinubu on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

According to the director general of the Renewed Hope Network, (RHN), Chief Mohammad Danmole, the two groups have been christened as Renewed Hope Network and Renewed Hope Ambassadors joining forces to support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.

“At the last election, the two main groups in this state came together to form one campaign team, The BAT Movement. It was a combination of what we call the mandate and the justice groups but now like last year, we are going to align ourselves. What we have is the renewed hope network and the renewed hope ambassadors.

“The network is different from the ambassadors but we are going to work together but in a different way as a team since we are working for one particular person and that is what we are planning to do,” he said.

Danmole, who addressed newsmen yesterday, stressed that TRN is focused at promoting civic participation, national unity, political inclusion, and good governance through structured grassroots engagement.

He emphasized that the group will endorse the Lagos’ deputy governor Dr. Kadiri Hamzat as the next governor, saying that over 55,000 participants from all walks of life, geopolitical zones, and faith-based organisations are expected to be in at the congregational prayer

“It will serve as a solemn platform for intercessory prayers for the peace, progress, and prosperity of our dear nation, as well as for divine guidance and strength for President Tinubu’s administration.

“Our mission is to directly engage with ordinary Nigerians in their own languages, respecting their cultures and traditions, while localising the Renewed Hope Agenda in every ward, polling unit, and community across the country,” he said.

He assured proper security to prevent breakdown of law and order, saying the state’s traffic management would control traffic.

“We are going to put 6-10 ambulances there,” he said.
