Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has urged herders at the Bobi Grazing Reserve to guide against infiltration by armed bandits.
He gave the advice on Monday during a visit with members of his cabinet to the grazing reserve, which is located in Mariga and Mashegu Local Government Areas of the state.

“There are many rugas in this grazing reserve and we have been talking to them not to allow strangers into their midst. They should not allow people they do not know to join them.
“In all, we are doing our best to protect and secure this entire area and we will get to it,” Bello said.
The governor, however, expressed optimism that the grazing reserve would help reduce the farmer-herder conflict and stop herders from wandering with their cattle.
