Reports  from Adamawa state indicates that there is fighting in Vintim, the home town of the Chief of Defence Staff, Air-Vice Marshal Alex Bade, a day after Boko Haram took over Mubi, the army chief’s local government headquarters.

 A resident of Uba, 30 kilometers from Mubi, Habeeb,  told Daily Trust  that Boko Haram fighters who overan Mubi yesterday, have started preaching in the town.

 When Boko Haram fighters entered Mubi yesterday, they tried to dissuade civilians from fleeing by telling them they were not after the innocent.
