Gunmen have shot and injured two people, Danladi Manya and Ayuba David, in Gaye village in Kwaku Ward of Kuje Area Council of the FCT.

A resident, James Ishaku, said the incident happened last Thursday around 11pm.

He added that the gunmen also attacked neighbouring Chida village where they raided some shops and stole foodstuff and other items.

Similarly, a man identified as Umar Gambo was kidnapped on Friday by gunmen on the Abaji-Toto road which links the FCT with Nasarawa State.

City & Crime gathered that the incident happened around 6pm when the victim, a native of Abaji Area Council of the FCT, was driving alone to Toto town.

There was no response from the spokeswoman of the FCT Police Command, SP Adeh Josephine, on the incidents.
