Suspected bandits have kidnapped at least 28 people including men, women and children from Zamfarawar Madogara in Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State.
A source who confirmed this to Daily Trust Saturday said the incident happened Thursday night when the bandits raided the village.
Batsari is one of the frontline LGAs terrorised by bandits for close to a decade.
In another story, suspected terrorists also attacked the village of Naduai, also in Batsari LGA, where they kidnapped people and set some piles of stalk on fire.

In a separate attack earlier, at least 20 persons, mainly women, were reportedly abducted by gunmen in Na-Alma village, Malumfashi Local Council of Katsina State.
The gunmen had stormed the community in motorcycles in the early hours of Tuesday.
A resident, who reportedly escaped abduction, said the gunmen also raided houses and carted away valuable items.
“They abducted girls, eight nursing mothers and their babies, and two pregnant women. They also kidnapped a man who they had earlier amputated his hand and leg.”
The police spokesman in Katsina, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, did not respond to enquiries about the incidents as at the time of filing this report.
