Gunmen on Tuesday invaded Bari village around 11pm in Rogo LGA of Kano State and kidnapped a traditional title holder and a housewife.
The kidnapped victims are Shehu Bello Bari (Yariman Bari), a younger brother to the Village Head of Bari, and the housewife, Binta Abdulkadir.

A resident of Bari, Suleiman Abdulqadir, told our reporter that a brother to the abducted Binta was earlier kidnapped and later released.
He said, “We are really sad about the issue because till now nobody has contacted the family.”
At the time of filing this report, the police spokesman in the state, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said he was not aware of the abductions.
