Gunmen shot dead one Olarewaju Oladapo Sikiru aka Alfa at the Dalimore area of Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State.

According to a source, the incident occurred after Alfa closed from his shop at about 10:45pm on Wednesday and was going home.
The source said Alfa’s assailants trailed him to his house behind Jonejay Hospital, Dalimore, Ado-Ekiti, where they shot and killed him at the entrance and carted away his valuables and money.
The police spokesman in the state, Sunday Abutu, confirmed the incident on Thursday.
