A farmer, Alaga Olayemi, has been shot and killed on his farm at Oke-Onigbin in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State by suspected bandits.

The farmer’s son, it was gathered, survived with gunshot injuries.

A source said, “We don’t know the motive behind this act. We met his body riddled with bullets on his farm; his son was also wounded.”

When contacted, the spokesperson of the Kwara State Police Command, Ajayi Okasanmi, said he was yet to be briefed about the incident.
