The Governing Council of the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) has approved the appointment of substantive University Bursar, Deputy University Librarian and the Director of Physical Planning Works and Maintenance.
The university’s Information officer Mallam Umar Usman disclosed this to newsmen in Gusau.
 According to him, the newly appointed officers were Garba Sarkin Baki Shinkafi who was appointed as the University’s substantive Bursar, Dr. Aliyu Gadanga Tsafe
appointed as the University Deputy Librarian and Engineer Abbas Imam Hadeja who was appointed as the substantive Director of Physical Planning Works and Maintenance.
He said they were appointed following advertisement published on the national dailies and subsequent interview conducted by the members of the University Governing Council led by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairperson of the Council, Professor Funmi Tagonu Bickersteth.
The new appointees were urged to be  dedicated to their duties.
