The Gwarinpa Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Nuruddeen Sabo, has been conferred with an award of excellence by Africa International Movie Summit (AFRIMS).

In a statement made available to City News signed by Prince Sixtus, coordinator of AFRIMS, Sabo was described as worthy to be honoured in view of his contribution to security.

“You are found worthy of honour due to your commitment, steadfastness and resilience in discharging your duties as a refined police officer in most of the regions and areas of the country where you have served as a divisional police officer,” the statement read.

He explained that the Most Outstanding Divisional Police Officer award conferred on Sabo was in recognition of the risks he takes daily in safeguarding other peoples’ lives.
