Max Air, one of the hajj official carriers has completed airlift operation foe this year’s pilgrimage, flying 35,482 pilgrims in 66 trips to Saudi Arabia.

Its final flight left Kano’s Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano on Saturday.

The company’s Public Relations Manager, Ibrahim Dahiru told Daily Trust, “The last flight is a combination of intending pilgrims from some states and officials of the some states pilgrims welfare boards.”

He also said that the airline had made two rescue flights for Bauchi State intending pilgrims when the airline contracted to transport them encountered a problem.

Dahiru added that this was in addition to the 10, 000 Nigerien intending pilgrims the airline airlifted to the Holy Land for this year’s Hajj.
