Med-View Airlines is expected to complete return airlift of pilgrims from the 2017 Hajj this Thursday.

The last flight of pilgrims from the Eastern zone comprising Enugu, Port Harcourt, among others will depart King Abdul-Azeez International Airport today.

Managing Director/CEO of the airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole disclosed this in a telephone chat with Daily Trust on Wednesday.

Some 15,000 pilgrims have so far been flown home.

The airline promised to complete all return flights in two weeks after returns started on September 10.

Outside Nigeria, the airline has flown 1, 400 pilgrims from Djibouti, 500 from Guinea Bissau and another 600 Sudanese pilgrims from Khartoum, the Sudan capital.
