FCT seems to be one of the cities in the world without orderliness. Recently, there is this group of uniformed men at every corner harassing motorists. Last week at Area 3, opposite UTC, a car parked and a man alighted; immediately they swamped on the driver seized his car keys and ordered him to come down and was asking them what was his offence they told him that he parked at the wrong place at the end he gave them over five thousand naira before he was allowed to go. The same scenario played out at Berger junction. The most annoying thing is that in most cases, it happened before the full glare of police like the Berger case. The FCT department of transportation or whatever agencies responsible should please come out and make a statement on issues like this to guide motorists.
