The Arewa Revival Project, a non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting peace and development in Nigeria, has called on the leaders of the #EndBadGovernance protests to suspend their actions immediately.

Hon. Muttaka Ahmed Ibrahim, National President of National Youth Mobilization for good Leadership in Nigeria and Arewa Revival Protect Project Coordinator, made the call in Abuja.

He regretted that the ongoing protests have resulted in the loss of lives, destruction of properties, and disruption of economic activities in many states.

He said their call follows the successful negotiation between the National Civil Societies Council of Nigeria and the federal government for dialogue.

“Regrettably, the ongoing protests have resulted in the loss of lives, destruction of properties, and disruption of economic activities in many states. We cannot afford to continue down this path of violence and bloodshed.

“In light of the Government’s willingness to engage in dialogue, we appeal to the protest leaders to halt their actions and work towards a peaceful resolution. Let us prioritize the sanctity of human life, the protection of properties, and the well-being of our nation.

“We urge all parties to embrace this opportunity for dialogue and work towards a constructive solution to address the grievances of the protesters,” Ibrahim stated.
