The day was terrible at the Igbariam junction. Students passed through this junction on their way to and from school. That fateful afternoon, the students who were returning home after taking their examinations were rattled by gunshots. The Big Boys were in operation. The hapless students scampered, many into the nearby bush, many got injured.

It took police about 10 minutes to come to their rescue. This happened not long after the bank robbery incident in Awka that claimed lives and led to the closure of banks for a whole week. These and many more related stories are rife in Anambra.

The question many ask now is has Anambra lost the light it was known to be?
