Head teacher defiles, infects 10-yr-old pupil with STD

A 31-year-old head teacher, who allegedly defiled and infected his 10-year-old pupil with a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD), has been remanded in prison. 

David Eyo, a resident of Aguda in Surulere area of Lagos, was on Tuesday ordered to be remanded in Kirikiri Prison by an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court. 

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, who gave the ruling, directed that the case file should be duplicated and a copy sent to the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice.

Police Prosecutor, Benson Emuerhi, said the accused committed the offence on February 10 in the premises of Promise Land Ministry School at No. 17, Aminu Jinadu Street., Eric Moore, Surulere.

The case has been adjourned to June 25. (NAN)
