All is set for the prestigious Nigerian award, Headies, which is scheduled to hold later today. For the first time, the annual music award ceremony is holding outside the shores of Nigeria.
This year marks the 15th edition of the event, themed, ‘Join the Movement’. The ceremony is billed to hold at the Cobbs Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, United States.

In a series of tweets, the organisers of the award, kept their teeming fans abreast of the events as they shared posts of the artistes’ rehearsing as well as other pictures which showed their preparedness.
The red-carpet session is scheduled to kick off by 2 pm while the main ceremony starts by 5 pm. This year’s award ceremony will be hosted by Nancy Isime, a media personality and actress.
While fans of the award ceremony can watch the events happening live on social media via HipTV’s YouTube and Facebook accounts, the award ceremony will be broadcast live on HipTV, Channel 324 on DStv, and Channel 74 on GOtv.
