Healthcare innovator Izzy Care set sights on African market

U.S-based Izzy Care’s co- founder Joswell Valdez says the firm has plans of revolutionizing healthcare provision across Africa as it set sights on operating on the continent.

Valdez says the company which has developed app based consultations will give enrollees an unlimited access to teams of high level doctors, psychologists and wellness coaches.

This development is coming at a time when Nigerian healthcare is in need of a boost considering how thousands of patients suffered a great deal during the recent joint health workers strike which shut down hospitals for weeks.

“We strongly believe that we have massive role to play to help enhance healthcare provision across Africa. Through our Izzy Care app, there’s a lot that can be achieved in terms of achieving a fulfilling and healthy life, not forgetting the token rewards one earns for meeting their personal health goals.” Valdez said.

Some experts have hailed Izzy Care’s innovative plan, believing that its decentralized methods will give enrollees various options as it relates to their health goals, adding that Africa stands to benefit from the innovation.
