The demolition was carried out by the Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA) at Angwan Ma’aji Danhono 1, in Chikun local government area in 2013.
The plaintiff is seeking a declaration by the court that KASUPDA was not established by law and therefore its operations and actions were illegal.
Joined as defendants in the Suit No. KDH/KAD/922/2013 are Saratu Haruna, the General Manager of KASUPDA, the state governor and the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice.
Justice Malam adjourned the matter till March 18, for hearing. (NAN)
