Now in its 21st year, the long list is among the lengthiest in its history. Two previous winners, Norway’s Per Petterson (2007) and the 2006 winner Colm Toibin are again nominated.
Oyeyemi has authored five books, including ‘Icarus Girl’, ‘The Opposite House’, ‘White is for Witching’, and ‘Mr. Fox’.
