HEN 2025: Over 60 exhibitors, 1,000 participants expected in Lagos

The sixth edition of the Hotel Expo Nigeria (HEN) is scheduled to take place at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, from September 29 to 30, 2025.

Founded by Joe Hanson alongside Michael Yanai and Toni-anne Uwaifo, the annual trade show has become a major platform for Nigeria’s hospitality sector, bringing together hoteliers, chefs, designers, suppliers, technology providers, financiers, and policymakers from within and outside the country.

Organisers said the expo has grown over the years into a hub for networking, knowledge exchange, sales, and international exposure, helping to reshape hospitality standards in Nigeria.

This year’s edition will run under the theme “Strategise, Connect, Invest” and will feature over 60 exhibitors and more than 1,000 participants. The focus will be on collaboration, planning, and funding in the hospitality and tourism ecosystem.

In addition to exhibitions, the event will feature masterclasses and conference sessions led by global experts, aimed at providing practical insights for both seasoned and emerging players in the industry.

“The higher our standards of delivery service, the higher the potential returns on investment in our hospitality and tourism sectors,” the organisers stated.

HEN has expanded its scope beyond hotels and restaurants to include technology, manufacturing, finance, tourism, and other related sectors, reflecting the interconnected nature of the hospitality industry.
