The police, on Tuesday, arraigned a 55-year-old herbalist, Kabiru Amuda, in an Iyaganku magistrates’ court, Ibadan, Oyo State, over an alleged N2.5 million fraud.
The defendant was tried for allegedly obtaining money under false pretence and theft.

The prosecutor, Insp Iyabo Oladoyin, told the court that the defendant sometime in June, in Ilora, Oyo State, obtained N2.5m from one Taofeek Ogungbe under the pretext of going to prepare a charm to boost his business and wealth.
The Magistrate, Mrs Adebola Adeola, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N3m with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case to August 20. (NAN)
