Over 200 Higher National Diploma (HND) students of Mass Communication Department, Federal Polytechnic, Bida have been trained on digital or online journalism.
Speaking at a two-day workshop on online journalism, the Head of Department, Mr. Christian Ucheanya, described the training as timely in view of the growing trend in online journalism all over the world.
In online journalism, editorial contents are distributed using the internet.
“Whether you like it or not, you will need online journalism for those who want to practise journalism,” he told the participants
