Former Chairman of the House Committee on Road Safety Commission, Hon. Abubakar Yunus Ahmad, has congratulated the Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, on the occasion of his 64th birthday.
In a statement on Wednesday, Ahmad described the governor as “a leader of exceptional character, strategic depth, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of Gombe State.”
He commended Governor Yahaya for what he termed a record of impactful leadership, citing initiatives such as the Gombe State Development Plan (2021–2030), improvements in healthcare delivery, and reforms in the education sector.
Ahmad also acknowledged the administration’s focus on rural development, youth empowerment, and environmental sustainability, particularly the Gombe Goes Green (3G) initiative, which he said has enhanced the state’s reputation for innovative governance.
“Governor Yahaya has redefined leadership in our region. He leads with humility, governs with wisdom, and serves with compassion,” Ahmad said.
He further praised the governor’s efforts in promoting peace and unity across the state, noting that his inclusive style of governance has strengthened public trust and inspired emerging leaders.
Ahmad offered prayers for Yahaya’s continued success, saying: “We pray that Almighty Allah blesses Governor Inuwa Yahaya with sound health, divine guidance, and enduring strength to continue his service to the people of Gombe State.”
