Suspected hoodlums have reportedly stabbed and inflicted injuries on one Mustapha Ibrahim and escaped with his bike near University of Abuja staff quarters in Gwagwalada area council of the FCT.
A resident of Giri, Yakubu Adamu, said the incident happened last Thursday around 9:12 pm when he left Giri on his bike to Gwagwalada, adding that the hoodlums on motorcycle attacked him on his way.
He said one of the hoodlums, who was seated on the bike, pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim on the back.
He fell down and they rushed to him and fled with his bike.

“Mustapha just left my house that Thursday night riding on his bike to Gwargwada. Shortly after the university of Abuja staff quarters, the hoodlums on bike stabbed him and escaped with his bike,’’ he said.
He said the hoodlums also went away with his android phone, saying the victim was later rushed to the hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
Adamu said the incident had been reported to the vigilantes in Gwagwalada, even as he said efforts were still ongoing to trail the hoodlums and recover the bike.
The spokeswoman of the FCT police command, SP Josephine Adeh, could not be reached for comment on the incident.
