The member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal constituency of Kogi State at the National Assembly, Alhaji Hassan Omale, at the weekend flagged off 4.8 kilometre Ajobe township road in Ankpa LGA.
Hassan, at the flag-off ceremony in Ankpa, said contract for the road construction project was awarded at the cost of N60 million. He said he embarked on the project in fulfillment of his campaign promises to his constituents. Hassan said plans were also underway to construct more rural roads and build classroom blocks in each of the three local government areas he represents at the lower chamber of the National Assembly.
The paramount ruler of Ankpa, Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar, commended the lawmaker for the gesture.
