Housewife forgives husband after arraignment over battery

A man, Muhammad Rabi’u Samegu has been arraigned before a Shari’a Court sitting at Kano State Hisbah Board over alleged beating of his wife.

Samegu was charged with using excessive force on his wife, Fatima Abubakar during a disagreement, which led to the falling down of their baby strapped to her back. 

He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

However, when the presiding Khadi, Sani Tamim Hausawa was about ordering his remand, the wife shocked the court when she said that she has forgiven her husband.
