The project funded by the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) was built by Jedo Investment Company, a private developer.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Mrs Eyankenyi said the project is another testimony to the seriousness of the present administration to deliver affordable houses to Nigerians.  
She said the project is a pilot scheme which will cut across the six geo-political zones of the country.   
She said the housing project is under the mass housing delivery programme tagged “ministerial pilot housing  scheme”.
In his address, FMBN Managing Director Mr Gimba Ya’u Kumo said the estate comprised 102 housing units of 32 units of one-bedroom bungalows, 40 units of two-bedroom bungalows and 30 units of three-bedroom bungalows serviced with basic infrastructure for the comfort of occupants.
“Civil servants, public and private sector workers and even self-employed contributors to the National Housing Scheme which is under the management of FMBN are entitled to purchase these housing units subject to the NHF Mortgage Loan conditions of the bank.
“Loan applicants are to note that they’ll enjoy the benefits of a low interest rate of six percent and a long tenure of up to 30 years for repayment on the facility,” he said.
Chairman of Jedo Investment, Alhaji  Oroji Wamakko  said the project would not have been successful without the support of the Federal Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development and FMBN that provided un-encumbered  land and funding for the project respectively, assuring that the houses are of the best standards.
