Suspected herders have allegedly killed a Boys’ Brigade camper, Mr Johnson John, at Zhayidna community in Karshi, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the FCT.

Our reporter learnt that the incident happened last Thursday, when John was attending a brigade camp at Zhayidna community near Ungwar Hakimi in Orozo.

It was gathered that the incident attracted the attention of the Chief of Igala community in Orozo, Mr Amadu Zachariah, who said the boys’ brigade organised a camp for its members, but due to the weather, the group moved to a nearby church. Zacharia said the incident happened when Mr Johnson John and another leader of the group returned to retrieve their belongings after the training.

He said they were attacked by some suspected herders.
