I want to use this medium to urge Governor Abdulaziz Yari to give us a breakdown of how he disbursed the Paris Club refund and bail-out funds that the state received from the federal government. Some states are already doing the same thing; informing their people on how the money was spent. 

We need to know how money sent to the state is being disbursed.

It is common knowledge that Zamfara was one of the recipients of the bail-out funds from the Central Bank, in line with the federal government’s resolve to reflate economic activities in the affected states.

Based on the disbursement, many of us, Zamfara State indigenes, are wondering why the governor is yet to settle outstanding salaries and pensioners’ entitlements. If the breakdown is given, people of the state will have a clearer picture of things.
