An educational research institute, the Ask University (ASKUNI), has said the educational cooperation that exist between the Nigerian and Turkish government has helped to strengthen bilateral relationships between both countries.
The Managing Director, ASKUNI Nigeria, Abdullahi Abdul Ibrahim, stated this in Abuja, during the third Nigeria Education fair 2025, recently.
According to Abdullahi, “Nigeria and Turkish government has good bilateral relationships, and one of such areas this was made possible is through educational cooperation.
“As an educational consultant, our aim is to provide services and awareness that will ease the process for interested Nigerian students who want to further their educational carrier in Turkey.”
He stated that the education fairs are designed to guide Nigerian students to over seventeen universities in Turkey, so that those that meet-up with the requirements can make their choice of university and course they want to study.
“We have good numbers of Nigeria students who have benefited from our interventions and are currently studying in Turkey in which we have helped in facilitating their admission process.”
He further added that “This year is our third educational fair we are holding, as you can see, the awareness and guidelines the students are getting are much, and majority of them have developed interest.”
On his part, the founder, AskFairs, Serhat Akdeniz, said, one of the importance of studying in Turkey, is because of the quality of education they offer students from around world.
According to the fonder, “We have lots of Nigerian students studying in Turkey, and the level of education they are exposed to, is a bedrock to achieving success in their pursuit in life.”
He further said “We give students all the necessary information’s that they needed to study in Turkey, resulting from their choice of course and school, so that they won’t find it difficult in the process.”
