“When a friend and colleague at my workplace recommended a fashion house for me in the nation’s capital, Abuja, I soliloquised, saying ‘usual tailoring shop with usual dresses production”, Mrs Anabel explained to other colleagues during an interaction in her office.
“I never knew that Nenye-Esthy Fashion House was not part of the usual tailoring shops I had patronized in the past. It was after I got my dresses and wore some to the office and some to occasion that I realized the type of work they did for me.
“Many people who stared at me at once, would look at me again and say, you’re gorgeous. Are the these dresses imported or Nigerian-made? It doesn’t look like they are made in Nigeria.”
Mrs Grace Akingboye, while expressing deepest appreciation to her husband for taking her to Nenye-Esthy Fashion House, said since when she relocated to Abuja after her wedding, she had always sewed dresses in the South Western part of the country.
“I got married in 2021 after the COVID-19 pandemic. After my wedding, I checked around to see whether I could get a tailoring shop or standard fashion house that I could take as permanent maker of my dresses, I couldn’t find.
“When I couldn’t find, I would reach out to the one I had been using in Ibadan, Oyo State capital. Sometimes, I would waybill my materials to her, then she would send it back to Abuja via a logistics company. At times, she would buy the materials for me in Ibadan and do it and send.

“But when my husband saw that the stress of doing that was a little bit much, she took his time one day and searched for a standard fashion house in Abuja. She took me to Nenye-Esthy Fashion House and I was very impressed,” Mrs Akingboye explained.
“Nenye-Esthy Fashion House, for me, is beyond just a fashion house. I can also call it a ‘Happy Home,” she added, saying she had recommended the brand to many corporate establishments and organisations.
Founded in 2019 in the capital city of Abuja, Nenye-Esthy Fashion House is a Nigerian fashion brand by Chinenye Esther, a fashion designer and creative entrepreneur with a strong passion for elegant, detail-oriented fashion.
