In today’s digital economy, few entrepreneurs are leveraging social media and ecommerce as effectively as Sengerlie Edouard, widely known online as Shamana Ed.
The Haitian-American entrepreneur and founder of Shamapromo LLC has transformed her online presence into a growing business empire focused on wholesale products, ecommerce mentorship, wellness goods, and community empowerment.
Known for her motivational videos and entrepreneurial insight, Shamana Ed has gained a loyal audience through TikTok and other social platforms where she openly discusses business growth, resilience, and financial independence.
But her path to success was far from easy.
Born in Haiti, Sengerlie moved to the United States as a teenager and faced significant challenges adjusting to life in a new country. Despite those difficulties, she excelled academically and eventually pursued a career in public service as an NYPD officer.
While serving in law enforcement, she developed leadership skills and discipline that would later become essential in her entrepreneurial career.
In 2020, she made the bold decision to leave traditional employment and focus entirely on business and digital entrepreneurship.
That decision led to the creation of Shamapromo, a company originally focused on helping individuals find remote-work opportunities and online income streams during uncertain economic times.
As ecommerce rapidly expanded, Sengerlie recognized an opportunity to grow the company into a broader platform combining product distribution, mentorship, and social commerce.
Today, Shamapromo distributes products ranging from baby care essentials and sanitary goods to wellness products and wholesale consumer items. Her products are sold through TikTok Shop, Amazon Marketplace, Walmart Marketplace, and other ecommerce channels.
At the same time, Sengerlie has become increasingly recognized for her mentorship initiatives. Through coaching programs and online education, she teaches aspiring entrepreneurs how to launch ecommerce businesses, source products, understand shipping logistics, and build long-term brands.
Her content resonates especially strongly among immigrant communities, women entrepreneurs, and first-generation business owners seeking financial independence through digital business.
“Social media changed my life,” Sengerlie says. “It gave me the ability to reach people globally and show them that entrepreneurship is possible regardless of where you come from.”
Alongside her own ventures, she has also contributed to the development of BAM, a rapidly expanding consumer products brand she is helping grow with her husband.
As her influence continues growing, Sengerlie says her ultimate goal is impact rather than recognition.
“I want people to see that success is achievable with consistency, discipline, and faith,” she explains. “If my story can motivate even one person to pursue their dreams, then everything I went through had purpose.”
With expanding product lines, growing mentorship programs, and a rapidly increasing digital audience, Shamana Ed is positioning herself as one of the emerging voices in modern entrepreneurship and ecommerce leadership.
