He gave this encouragement while ministering on a special three-day prophetic impartation service at the church’s headquarters in Abuja recently. The service included a sermon broken into three segments with the theme “Rivers in High Places”.

Ayorinde revealed that he had got his message of hope after his explosive revival meetings around the nation.

He prophesied, “while a wildernesses represents dryness, a desert and  a dry land, even in the dryness of this generation, like a seed planted by God himself, you will prosper and succeed in all endeavours because that is the promise of God for you. You will flourish like a cedar planted in the wilderness.” There was a rapturous response of “Amen” from the expectant faithfuls.

Drawing copiously from Isaiah 41: 18-20, the General Overseer added, “It must not be business as it has been. If you continue to do the same thing the same way you have been doing things, you will continue to get the same results. It is time to change your mentality. The problem with many of us is that we are used to the spirit of mediocrity, ignoring that of excellence.”

He gave the congregation snippets of how to achieve greatness despite limitations.

This he said included making up one’s mind to break away from an ignoble past, putting up an aggressive and determined spirit, speaking in unknown tongues, waiting on an inspirational idea and praying for divine favour.

“Where the miracle is, there is a pool in the wilderness but where you have to play your part is that you must plant the seed which will usher in the required result,” he added.

The service included musical ministrations, a three-day fast and an impartation period where the clergyman made prophetic declarations.  A Holy Communion service coordinated by the mission’s General Evangelist, Reverend Kunle Adeoye signalled the end of the event.
