How to keep your miracle

God blesses and God intervenes in people’s lives through miracles. But miracles can be lost. The question is why? Why do people lose their miracle? Why do mountains move back into people’s lives after they have been cast out? Why do people lose their deliverance? This teaching is very important because as we shall see, mountains not only return, they return bigger.
7 Reasons people lose their miracle
1. Spiritual emptiness. Matthew 12:43-45, “43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he FINDETH IT EMPTY, swept, and garnished. 45Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.”
2. Unbelief, doubt. Fear that what God said is not going to come to pass. The most critical part of faith is the waiting period. The transition between prayer and manifestation of miracle key. This is the make or mar period. This is the time the enemy tries desperately to make you lose your miracle by throwing everything at you to cause you to doubt. He brings in all sorts of contradictions to the Word of God. The aim is to get you lose your confidence in the promise you are standing on. That is why DEEP CONVICTION is necessary.
Doubting is focusing on the contradictions of the Word of God. Wavering is oscillating between what God said and the contradictions hitting the mind.
James 1:6-8“6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
One has to be steadfast in holding on to the truth- the Word of God, the promise of God. Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, ‘be thou removed and cast into the sea….AND SHALL NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART…’ Only those who overcome their doubts receive the manifestation of their miracles. Don’t let the devil talk you out of your breakthrough.
For instance, when you have sown your seed, you must continue to believe that your hundredfold harvest is yours until it manifests. You received it when you planted your seed. But you must continue to expect it until it comes. Your confidence in the promise of God will be rewarded. Hebrews 10:35 35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 3. Wavering confessions.
If your belief is unstable, your confession will be unstable. Today you say it is well with you tomorrow you say things are not working just because you have not seen anything. We must hold on to the profession (confession) of our faith without wavering. Heb 10:23 “23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised).”
4. Wrong association. 1Cor 15:33, “33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” “Bad company corrupts good character.” NLT.
This is associating with people who have no respect for the Word of God. Satan will use them to sow doubts in your mind that will make you lose your breakthrough. Think of what could have happened if Eve did not engage in that conversation with the Serpent in the Garden of Eden! Associate yourself with faith-filled, Bible-believing saints. Who are the people that have the greatest influence over your decisions? Who are the people you interact with from day to day and what are they speaking into your life?
5. Sin. I once prayed for and ministered to a man who had kidney failure and the Lord healed him completely. Demons were cast out of him and out of his house. The Holy Spirit revealed to me and they confirmed it, that they were living in a house where heads of families that lived there died mysteriously. He went and took a second wife after he recovered fully. (He was born again and attended a Pentecostal church.) The illness came back with more fury and he died. Two women were healed of cancer but they both turned to fornication and committing adultery with married men. Their cancer returned, spreading very rapidly and they died. John 5:14, “14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: SIN NO MORE, LEST A WORSE THING COME UNTO THEE.”
Go and sin no more lest a worst thing befalls you. Sin is SELF-SABOTAGE. One sin we often ignore is the sin OF NOT PAYING OUR TITHE CONSISTENTLY. Achan had stepped into the Promised Land but sabotaged his destiny by stealing what God said they should dedicate to Him.
The Holy Spirit made me to realize that one of the main reasons why most people never get to enjoy the manifestation of their miracle or breakthrough is FAILURE TO CONSISTENTLY PAY THEIR TITHE. If you are serious about receiving what you have prayed for or keeping what you have received, you must resist the temptation of not paying your tithe or delaying it. Failure to pay tithe is regarded by God as the sin of robbery. Your tithe belongs to the church where you belong and not to any itinerant prophet, evangelist or a pastor you fancy.
6. Impatience. It nearly robbed Abraham of the promise of God but for God’s mercy and faithfulness. Vulnerable groups are those believing God for life partners, the fruit of the womb, financial breakthrough, etc. Impatient people compromise their values and settle for inferior, fake and cheaper alternatives. Impatient people quit! Remember that DELAY IS NOT DENIAL. Galatians 6:9, “Soon we shall reap if we faint not.” It takes a combination of faith and patience to inherit the promise of God. Hebrews 6:12.
7. Failure to carry out divine instruction. Listen for divine instructions in the postprayer, post-ministration period and carry them out to the letter. The Holy Spirit may bring a sin to your mind to confess; do it immediately. He may direct you to forgive someone that has wronged you; forgive that person genuinely. He may direct you to bless someone; do it without delay. He may direct you to sow a particular seed to the church; carry it out promptly. He may remind you to pay up a particular pledge or vow you may have forgotten; do it without delay. He may require you to break a particular relationship; do it with wisdom but immediately. GOD’S ORDERS ARE NEVER NEGOTIABLE! Your obedience is an expression of your faith, humility and respect for God. Obedience is the key to enjoying the blessings of God in full. Check out Deuteronomy 28:1-14. Job 36:11 says, “11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.” God rewards obedience with breakthrough. I command to be restored to your life every miracle you have lost in Jesus mighty name! Every leakage in your life is sealed in Jesus name!
