Kumuyi said having a new name means one has inherited everything that belongs to the father as a son and one has right to hear the voice of the father.

Quoting Matt 5:13, the cleric noted that having a new name means Christians are the salt.

He stressed the need for the new man to acquire a new nature, admonishing all Christians to embrace the new life in Christ.

“When a man has a new nature it will make him to have a new spirit, tongue, heart and be a new creature,” he said.
