The vigilante said when they questioned him about the content of the bag, he said it was food but that upon a search, they found a human head.

He said they took the suspect to his house to find out how he got the human head only to meet his wife tied down.

According to him, the woman said her husband tied her down with a rope before killing their daughter.

“He took us to the place where he buried the little girl’s body in a shallow grave and the body of the girl was exhumed immediately,” the vigilante said.

The spokesperson of the Edo state police command, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, confirmed the incident.

He said, “It was the vigilante that arrested him. We would made public the details of the investigations.”
