How should we reward this university worker? Professor Attahiru Jega should reward, or at least, honour him because he has made INEC proud. The suspicion that has dovetailed the election was that the PDP machinery may have compromised INEC officials, hence their widespread victory, in spite of the fact that the majority of Nigerians are dissatisfied with the party’s performance in the last 12 years. The majority of Nigerians disbelief electoral officials because most of them consider election periods as INEC officials’ own harvest season, when they make stupendous wealth to the amazement of those around them.
