Huawei Technologies limited has donated relief materials worth millions of naira to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the country.

When handing over the relief materials to the Ministry of Interior, at a ceremony in Abuja over the weekend, the company’s Deputy Managing Director, Martin Zhong, said that the donation was an expression of the company’s deep commitment to Nigeria.

‘‘From last year, we saw  from the news that many people are displaced in North East, even there is news that people are dead caused by starvation and poor health conditions. Huawei Technologies, as a company would like to extend  our deep commitment to Nigeria by standing by her in times of need. We know whatever we present to you today cannot take away the pain and suffering you have encountered. Our token of love is to help you reduce the pain and suffering you have passed though recently”, he said.
