1. Food Assistance
In collaboration with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Fintiri administration distributed food items to 2,450 vulnerable households across Adamawa State. This initiative aimed to provide immediate relief and reduce hunger among the most at-risk populations.

Governor Fintiri’s administration has forged strong alliances with the Northeast Ambassadors and various international humanitarian organizations to address complex humanitarian needs. Priority areas include:
• Durable solutions for refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs)
• Strengthening local governance
• Enhancing community security
• Accelerating infrastructure rehabilitation
3. Flood Relief – Cash Support
As part of the emergency response to the 2024 floods, ₦250,000 in cash assistance was provided to 1,896 households in the most severely affected Local Government Areas:
• Numan
• Demsa
• Madagali
• Michika
• Lamurde

4. Shelter Support
To support post-disaster recovery, shelter kits were distributed to 1,896 affected households in Imburu, Numan LGA, helping families regain stability and dignity after the floods.
5. Enhanced Collaboration with the FAO
On Friday, 21st February 2025, the Ministry met with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to:
• Strengthen multi-agency collaboration
• Facilitate data-sharing protocols
• Coordinate intervention efforts among FAO, ACRESAL, government agencies, and other humanitarian partners
6. Disaster Risk Reduction Initiatives
The Ministry is actively partnering with:
• Catholic Relief Services (CRC)
• FAO
• International Organization for Migration (IOM)
to implement disaster risk reduction strategies. These efforts focus on long-term solutions to combat recurring floods and enhance community resilience.
