As a result of our expansion in the Northern part of the country, opportunities have been created for graduates to join our organisation through our graduate trainee scheme. Successful candidates will work in any of our offices in the north.
Qualification and Requirements
Minimum second class upper degree in any of the following disciplines:

a.    Agricultural science
b.    Agricultural economics and             extension
c.    Agricultural engineering
d.    Plant science
e.    Forestry
f.    Agronomy
Must have completed the NYSC scheme, be a self starter, must be willing to live in rural areas in any of the Northern states, must be analytical minded and be a fast learner. Must be confident and possess leadership skills, be computer literate and must not be more than 25 years old.

a. Branch Manager: Will plan and organise the medium and long term activities of the branch, monitor the stock level of the branch and ensure that set targets are achieved. Candidate will also manage staff including the implementation and maintenance of HR systems, procedures and policies, taking full responsibility for branch success from a profit – loss perspective, identifying opportunities and dealing with customers, staff and equipment matters.
b. Admin manager: Will implement and maintain administrative systems, procedures and policies, implement and maintain financial budgets, implement and maintain financial budgets, implement and maintain the loss control system, ensure adherence to health, safety and housekeeping standards. Will manage staff which includes the implementation and maintenance of human resource systems, procedures and policies.  
c. Sales Managers:  Will ensure effective merchandising in the store, ensure production adheres to the agreed system, ensuring stock availability at all times, managing wastage in all departments, ensuring effective housekeeping, as well health and safety, managing staff, including the implementation and maintenance of HR systems, procedures and policies.
Requirements: At least three years managerial experience in a similar field (experience in FMCG or retail outlet would be preferred). A tertiary educational qualification is very essential, a good command of spoken and written English, insight to business activities. A keen interest and proven track record in the retail industry will be to your advantage. You will furthermore be required to plan and organise projects and events from start to finish, commit to hygiene and cleanliness. Although normal office hours apply, this challenging environment is highly demanding and deadline driven, and as such, may require a compromise from time to time in terms of personal time invested and willingness to transfer is essential.

Diamond Development Initiatives
The project which is based in rural communities in Sokoto State and the Federal Capital Territory, will use a multi-sector approach to provide support to very poor households by growing their agricultural production, increasing incomes and improving the nutrition of children.
Requirements: All applicants must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have a high proficiency in the use of computer software, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Positions:
1.    Project Coordinator (Abuja): a degree in agriculture and at least five years direct involvement in community development work, technical support, management and administrative leadership in similar activities. Experience working with governments, LGAs and community structures is desirable.
2.    Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Sokoto): a degree in agriculture, social sciences or related fields with at least two years direct involvement in providing monitoring and evaluation support for related programmes.
3.    Finance and Administrative Officer (Sokoto): a degree in accounting, public administration or a related field. Relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage with at least three years of experience as an account officer with a reputable NGO or donor agency. S/he must have thorough knowledge and understanding of professional accounting principles, theories, practices and terminology.
4.    Programme Officer (Sokoto): a degree in social science, agriculture, nutrition, public health or related fields with at least three years of direct involvement in community development work.
