Speaking to Feverpitch yesterday on phone, the former Super Eagles striker said he is in the right frame of mind for the match which he described as very crucial.
He said Lobi Stars will not be a push over but in the end, Heartland will triumph to take the trophy back to Owerri.
Ibenegbu explained that his team is highly motivated and the government of Imo State has mobilized enough supporters to storm the Teslim Balogun stadium for the match.
Furthermore, he said with the heavy presence of Igbos in Lagos, Heartland will not lack the needed support to beat Lobi Stars.
“I can tell you that I am ready for tomorrow’s (today) final. I am in shape and I am confident I will give me best to make sure we retain this trophy.
“I have so much respect for our opponents but they cannot stop us. We will be going into the match as defending champions and that gives us psychological advantage over Lobi Stars.
“All I ask for is a level playing field. If we are allowed to play our game, nothing will stop us from winning”, he said.
