The outgoing Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, has said that his administration has created an enabling business environment for investors in the state.

The governor, who will be handing over to the new governor-elect today, Caleb Mutfwang, spoke while commissioning the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operator in Nigeria, EatN’Go Africa’s, first store in Jos.

He said the state had also intensified infrastructural development to boost an enabling business environment for investors, adding that the newly completed interchange at the British-American Junction (beside the store) was one of such infrastructure.

He commended QSR as a giant and master franchisee for Domino’s Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery and Pinkberry Gourmet Frozen Yoghurt brands, urging them to continue to do well in the fast food industry.

In his remarks, Maruf Lamidi, the Marketing Manager of Cold Stone, who represented the Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of EatN’Go  Africa Limited, Mr Patrick McMichael, said, “The new store marks a significant milestone in the culinary landscape of Jos, as we witness the inauguration of this iconic Domino’s Pizza and Cold Stone Creamery in this great city. This event signifies not only the expansion of renowned global brands, but also the growing prominence of our city – Jos, as a thriving hub for commerce and economic growth.”
