The main inspiration for starting my business was my passion for it. My entrepreneurial spirit and also the successful people who I admired in my lifetime that inspired me.

Where do you see your business in the next five years?

God willing, I hope to see myself not only a successful and self dependent businessman but also an inspiration to other youth, insha Allah.

How much support did you get from family and friends?

Yes, my parents were completely supportive and provided me with invaluable advice that I will always be thankful for, and my friends also with their prayers, advice and lots more, may God bless them all.

How do you feel whenever you see your brand being worn by a customer?

The joy I feel whenever I see a customer with my clothes is just overwhelming and words can’t express it alone. I always pray for those customers to be enriched.

In what ways can the government help small businesses?

Government can help small businesses in many ways, they should create platforms for small businesses to be able to access Products and materials/raw materials for the small businesses. Most small businesses don’t have the manpower or capital to run the business well. The government can also help with intervention funds/relief funds with small or no interest rate for small businesses.

What advice do you have job-searching youths?

“No success comes in a day”, it takes time and patience no matter the nature of job or business. The best way is to combine the two together, because no job stops you from exploring business ideas. Job and business might work for some and don’t work out for others. You just need to find out which best works for you.

Finally, I would love to encourage anyone out there trying to build or struggling with their businesses should never give up. If you fail you try again, never give up until you become successful. It’s not about how many times you fail but how you bounce back from it.
